Whooping Crane Pin

The rarest of all the world’s crane species, the Whooping Crane has been on the Endangered Species list since 1967. Standing nearly 5 feet tall (North America’s tallest bird) with a wingspan of more than 7 feet, they can fly at speeds of around 35-40 mph. Looking similar in appearance, males and females usually mate for life. Whooping Cranes live  for approximately 22 to 24 years in the wild.
