Horned Puffin
Regular price
$6.00
Inhabiting rocky cliffs and islands of the Pacific Northwest coast, the Horned Puffin is identified by the leathery “horned” markings above its eyes. The Puffin’s beak and legs exhibit bright oranges and reds during the summer breeding months; during winter it sheds its brightly colored bill ornament, its feet dull and white face darkens to gray. Well-suited to life at sea, the Horned Puffin’s beak is designed to carry an average of 10 fish at a time.
1.125" Hard enamel pin; black metal.
