$6.00
Sandhill Cranes are generally found in marshes and open wetlands. They are one of only two crane species native to North America. They stand 3 feet tall with a wingspan of almost 7 feet. Unlike the Great Blue Heron, they hold their neck straight both at rest and in flight. While migrating to their winter homes, more than three-fourths of all Sandhill Cranes use staging areas in a single 75-mile stretch along Nebraska's Platte River.
