Petrified Forest National Park Traveler Walking Stick Medallion

The only U.S. national park traversed by fabled U.S. Route 66 was a wet, forested landscape roamed by dinosaurs more than 200 million years ago. Mineral-rich water that saturated huge fallen coniferous trees helped crystallize the wood through time, creating the rock-hard texture and rainbow-like colors that characterize today’s “petrified” trees. These monument-like logs long have attracted visitors, who also discover the park’s animal and plant fossils, ancient petroglyphs, historic sites and abundant Arizona desert scenery.
1.5" Walking Stick Medallion, Nickel Metal Finish; includes brass mounting pins and adhesive backing.
