Blue Phlox Pin

Wild Blue Phlox is a charming woodland plant which trails along the ground, rooting at their nodes and sending up upright flowering branches 8 to 20 inches tall. At their tips, loose, flat clusters of fragrant blossoms appear, ranging from soft lavender to pink or violet, with broader leaves draped along the trailing stems. Found in Midwestern woods and fields, it’s lovingly called “Wild Sweet William” and stands apart from the spreading, patch-forming Creeping Phlox.
