Blueberry Pin

Blueberries are a widely distributed group of perennial flowering plants, with five main types of blueberries native to the United States: northern highbush, southern highbush, rabbiteye, lowbush and half-high. Full blueberry production is reached at around 6 years maturity of the plant, and the fruit has been used throughout centuries for nutrition, medicine and as a purple dye for cloth and baskets. A relative of rhododendron & azalea, blueberry bushes offer delicate bell-shaped spring flowers and scarlet fall foliage for attractive landscaping.
