Great Basin National Park Traveler Patch
Known for its high-elevation bristlecone pines, some more than 4,000 years old and arguably the oldest living things on Earth, this Nevada park rises in elevation more than 6,000 feet from sagebrush country to the alpine summit of Wheeler Peak. Visitors to the remote park travel along the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive to above 10,000 feet on the 13,063-foot mountain.
