Moose Patch

The Moose is the largest antlered animal in the world. Bulls may weigh between 800-1200 pounds and cows weigh about 600-800 pounds. These solitary animals are at home in the water, submerging for 3 to 4 minutes and swimming for miles. Their 1” wide nostrils shut tight while under water. They breed in late September/early October, and shed their antlers in December/January.
