This paradise park’s green hills dipping into turquoise Caribbean waters, gorgeous beaches and its marine-life-rich coral reefs lure visitors from all over. They snorkel, dive, swim, boat and kayak in waters once sailed by pirates. They hike scenic trails and explore plantation-era ruins on the island of St. John. Most of the island’s vegetation once was cleared for agricultural use, but today, the park preserves a fascinating plant life population ranging from cacti to swaying palms.
